Presentation by Sarah Boyd of the Kansas City Police Department. Sarah will discuss how the police department is using social media not just to build relationships with a brand, but also to prevent and solve crimes.
She’ll also discuss some of the challenges and obstacles faced while establishing the police department’s social media presence and how those potential hurdles were overcome.
Plus, breakfast attendees will have a chance to give their thoughts on a KCPD mobile app, which is currently in development.
NOTE: A $5 fee will be collected at the door on Friday morning. You will be able to pay the $5 in cash or with credit. The $5 fee does not include breakfast or drinks at Kansas City Cafe.
For those who want to eat breakfast, a fee of $15 will be collected at the door; $5 for the event, and $10 for breakfast, beverage and tip. You will no longer have to make two separate payments if you want to order a meal.
