Re-Think the Brand Called You Webinar

Time: 11:30am – 1:00pm CST

It’s crucial when you interview for a job to be able to distinguish yourself from every other candidate. Your part on the interview is to articulate why they should hire you. Who are they hiring? What is your character, track record, and reputation? What can they count on? Through a series of questions, they hope to get to know you.  Bottom line, they hope you are the one.

When you’re unclear and have difficulty talking about yourself, it’s actually uncomfortable, and you’re less likely to share yourself with others. You have a brand whether you’re aware of it or not. The brand called YOU is one of the most important parts of the whole job search process.

You will learn:

  • To polish the diamond. (That diamond is you!)
  • How to change the way you think about YOU
  • How to boost your self-confidence
  • Your “ME” file including accomplishments, strengths value statements and elevator pitch
  • What relationships are absolutely necessary to drive you forward toward the fulfillment of your ultimate life

Linking Professionals Private Event: Live Marketing

Location:
Sullivan’s of Leawood
4501 West 119th Street
Leawood, KS 66209
Google Map

Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

We have started this mixer EARLY to accomodate those professionals who struggle to attend traditional “happy hour” events due to family or other obligations. 3:30 arrival is an OPTION, not a requirement.

Cost: $50

No walk-ins will be permitted.

For years Laura Wynn has worked a speaking circuit teaching professionals that effective networking should  emphasize the importance of building trusted real life relationships for business viability and longevity. It’s also crucial to know the fundamentals of your new contacts’ business offerings. While simple in theory, it’s often difficult to accomplish both in one fragment of time investment.

This Live Marketing(tm) concept ultimately yields “warm” leads as natural result of the work we do together at the event and by Laura on your behalf for the entire month of the event.

Prior to the event, Laura will promote registered guests by conversing with “you” on Twitter, Linked In and Facebook. Laura will use these mediums to pull you into strategically created conversations as a means to gain “followers” and “likes” for your Internet brand. Additionally, Laura will be working diligently to reach out to the desired business connections you provided during online registration.

During online registration you will be asked to provide an “elevator speech”, for lack of better term. Do not over think this; simply describe a good contact for you. Laura will handle the rest! You may bring business cards but they are not necessary as each attendee will receive this information in a printed handout.

At each event, you will receive a list of all registrants that will include the same information you provided Laura prior to the event. We will begin with organized introductions and then mingle in a nice setting.

After the event, Laura will reach out once again to the contacts/industries you desire meeting to invite them to future events. Each guest will also receive a follow up e-mail that includes all registrant info.
