Google Map
Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm

No walk-ins will be permitted.
For years Laura Wynn has worked a speaking circuit teaching professionals that effective networking should emphasize the importance of building trusted real life relationships for business viability and longevity. It’s also crucial to know the fundamentals of your new contacts’ business offerings. While simple in theory, it’s often difficult to accomplish both in one fragment of time investment.
This Live Marketing(tm) concept ultimately yields “warm” leads as natural result of the work we do together at the event and by Laura on your behalf for the entire month of the event.
Prior to the event, Laura will promote registered guests by conversing with “you” on Twitter, Linked In and Facebook. Laura will use these mediums to pull you into strategically created conversations as a means to gain “followers” and “likes” for your Internet brand. Additionally, Laura will be working diligently to reach out to the desired business connections you provided during online registration.
During online registration you will be asked to provide an “elevator speech”, for lack of better term. Do not over think this; simply describe a good contact for you. Laura will handle the rest! You may bring business cards but they are not necessary as each attendee will receive this information in a printed handout.
At each event, you will receive a list of all registrants that will include the same information you provided Laura prior to the event. We will begin with organized introductions and then mingle in a nice setting.
After the event, Laura will reach out once again to the contacts/industries you desire meeting to invite them to future events. Each guest will also receive a follow up e-mail that includes all registrant info.

In the current job market, with unemployment hovering at around 9%, and the “broad unemployment rate” nearly 18%, it is absolutely essential that your resume make you irresistible to hiring managers. It needs to highlight the skills you can bring to any position, and minimize any liabilities that would keep you from getting an interview. If you are getting no response from your current resume, you owe it to your career and yourself to attend this free workshop.
In this two-hour workshop, Tammy Kabell will teach you step-by-step how to put together the components of a successful resume. She will help you identify your skills that can be transferred to multiple industries, as well as resume strategies to overcome obstacles in your search, such as long unemployemnt or advanced experience / age. We’re not sure who coined this thought, but all companies need to understand that they are operating two businesses these days…1) the business they are in, and 2) a publishing business. Content Marketing holds so many similarities to traditional publishing processes, but most companies don’t know how to think, act or consistently deliver like a publisher. This session will provide participants with a solid framework for building their own internal publishing department, and discuss some of the processes and tools used by today’s most successful content marketers.
