Marketers aren’t the only kids on the block using social media to tell stories, connect with people, and accomplish business goals. Journalists, too, are faced with similar demands — how to deliver good, valuable content to readers at the right time, on the right channel, and with the right message that will move them to respond.
In fact, journalists have been on the forefront of the social media revolution from its beginning.
Just ask Alex Knapp, social media editor and staff writer at Forbes Magazine. A seasoned reporter and editor with a long history in digital media, Alex understands that in the social age, everyone — businesses, brands, and individuals — must think like a publisher.
Join the Social Media Club of Kansas City on Thursday, May 9, at Pierpont’s in beautiful Union Station, as our professional lunch series continues.
Alex will discuss topics including:
- Highlighting to get clicks and stand out in world drowning in content.
- Using different social media platforms for different results.
- Engaging with the audience and getting them excited about your brand.
- Using data analytics to craft a social media strategy.
Whether you’re a brand ambassador, nonprofit marketer, data geek, or just someone trying to figure out how to get the most out of your social dollar, you won’t want to miss this conversation with a KC-based, nationally reaching industry influencer.
